I charge $10 per notarization, which is the maximum allowed by Michigan law.
In addition, a modest travel fee may apply depending on the distance between us.
If you're located farther away and my travel fee would exceed what I consider reasonable, I will gladly refer you to a trusted notary closer to your area—because I truly believe that when you do the right thing, the rest takes care of itself.
💸 You won’t be asked to pay until your notarizations are complete.
(Note: In certain cases, a travel fee may still apply if the appointment requires travel that isn’t completed.)
Michigan Law of Notarial Acts, Act 238 of 2003 55.285 Performance of notarial acts Sec. 25. (7) The fee charged by a notary public for performing a notarial act shall not be more than $10.00 for any individual transaction or notarial act. Before the notary public commences to travel in order to perform a notarial act, the notary public and client may agree concerning a separate travel fee to be charged by the notary public for traveling to perform the notarial act.

We Notarize Signatures, Not Documents.
We notarize most legal, medical, and business documents, including affidavits, powers of attorney, wills, deeds, and more.
Please make sure you have your unexpired state or federally issued ID, with your signature and photograph. If you don't have that, please call and we can talk about other legal avenues.
Yes, we provide apostille courier services for documents that need to be authenticated for use in other countries.
You’ll need a valid, government-issued photo ID. The document must be complete and unsigned before we arrive (unless otherwise instructed).
The signer must be able to communicate directly with the notary. If a translator is needed, we cannot proceed with notarization. We are happy to refer you to a notary in our network that is fluent in the language needed, if we are aware of one.
There are alternative options like signature by mark or by proxy, but legal requirements must be met. Please contact us to discuss specifics.
